Sounds Like San Diego: December 24

Every year on Christmas Eve, music lovers flock to the Casbah for Exile on Kettner Boulevard.

On just about every Monday of the year, we celebrate with the Anti-Monday League at the Casbah, the long-running Monday night music showcases presented by Tim Pyles, but who can complain about a Monday when it coincides with Christmas Eve? Every year, music lovers flock to the Casbah for Exile on Kettner Boulevard. Mario Escovedo leads a mix of all-star musicians as they perform Rolling Stones covers all night long. It's a chance to catch up with old friends, see musicians who've graced San Diego with their talent over the years and a chance to enjoy some holiday cocktails without judgment. The show is always free, but the bar always reaches capacity, so come early, stay late and enjoy a Christmas Eve tradition in San Diego.
