December is upon us and while you can still expect some touring acts to trickle into town, this is a prime time to get familiar with the local music scene that you have been ignoring for months. Of course, every Monday you can party with Tim Pyles as he hosts Anti-Monday League at the Casbah, or you can catch St. Cloud Sleepers at the Grifin. Tin Can Country Club is in effect with Fast Heart Mart, and newish local band Big Country Elephant appears at Soda Bar. Get familiar with your local dive and hear some new tunes too! Sounds like a good Monday to me.
