There are many music traditions in San Diego around the holidays, and this Tuesday you can catch one of my personal favorites. Gary Shuffler has been a part of the San Diego music scene in many ways over the years, but once a year he dons a wig and spandex to do his best David Bowie as Ziggy Shuffledust supported by the Spiders From Mars, an all-star band of local musicians equally committed to the tribute. It's always a fun night at the Casbah, and as we settle in for the holidays, it just might help you get into the spirit with a wintery cocktail or two.
