Sounds Like San Diego: Dec. 15

The 1975 sold out Observatory, but excellent soundscapes await at the Casbah and Merrow Tuesday

The good news this Tuesday night is that there a couple outstanding shows in Cheap Trick and the 1975. Unfortunately for you last-minute plan makers, both shows have long been sold out. You might be able to scrounge some tickets out front of the venues, but it's cold, and you are better off just catching a show like Showcash at the Casbah or the "dark indie-folk meets outlaw country" (as they're often described) of the Sudden Passion at the Merrow, or even head up to Che Cafe for Austin's More Eaze. Pro tip: Jesse Lamonaca just finished nursing school, so he should be in quite the mood to celebrate at the Merrow. Wish him congrats, won't you?
