There just aren't ska bands like there used to be, so when they come to town, you can expect a loyal fan following of the rocksteady beats. Meanwhile, Soda Bar welcomes Vancouver art-rock band Blessed, L.A. indie-rockers the Wrecks play House of Blues and Halloran's night at the Merrow features Heir Gloom, Skyterra and Jara.
