It has shaped up to be a great week for music, and hump day has some stellar offerings, no matter what your flavor. Lissie returns to the House of Blues and should be a definite treat for fans; ticketholders would be wise to show up early enough to catch the incredible Kopecky Family Band, which has been touring so much this year that one might wonder if they even have a need for homes anymore. At the Balboa Theatre, the Black Crowes perform. The show was originally scheduled for the yet-to-be-opened Avalon, which is expected to occupy the building 4th & B called home before the venue shuttered its doors. Finally, the Casbah has an amazing lineup, featuring San Diego's Finest, a local supergroup with Pinback's Rob Crow and many guest performers. With Octagrape, Ghetto Blaster and Mudhead, this is one fundraiser you don't want to miss.
