Sounds Like San Diego: Dec. 9

Tuesday sees Brazilian bossa nova singer Bebel Gilberto selling out Belly Up and more

It's a great night to class it up as Brazilian bossa nova singer Bebel Gilberto performs an intimate show to a seated audience at the Belly Up. Recording with her parents at the tender age of seven, Gilberto has spent her life honing her craft and delighting audiences worldwide with a style that is distinct and certainly unique. Around the rest of town, it's all about local music, with Alive & Well and Subsurfer rocking out at Soda Bar, Surefire Soul Ensemble setting the Hideout ablaze and Marujah, who've been making a local splash lately, taking the helm at the Casbah
