Some days I am here to recommend one or two or a few shows, but ultimately my own mind is made up on where I'm going or what I'm doing on any given night. But there are also fun days like today where I could kind of end up wherever the wind takes me. Maybe I could swing by Vinyl Junkies Record Swap before I really even get my day going. Or, I could head up to the races and catch Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot, which could be really fun with the whole family. You can be sure that Flogging Molly at SDSU's Open Air Theatre is going to be pretty raucous too. Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how you view such matters), there's no place for a circle pit to form. The unmistakable voice of Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik will be a draw for many at Sycuan, and Kite play a special performance at San Diego Art Institute. Going head to head, Earthless is at the Belly Up while Stage Kids make a much anticipated Casbah debut. That's a whole lot of fun stuff to process for one Saturday.
