Sounds Like San Diego: August 6

Tuesday's shows around town include, Foo Fighter's lead guitarist, Chris Shiflett taking center stage with the Dead Peasants at the Casbah

For most people, Chris Shiflett was last seen playing guitar with the Foo Fighters before thousands of people at Viejas Arena. However, for some it was at the Casbah, fronting his own band, the Dead Peasants. Curiously enough, more people post Shiflett sightings around town than about actually attending his side project's show, which I don't understand. Sure, they're not the Foo Fighters, but the Dead Peasants definitely put on an amazingly awesome show and are worth your time. The Griffin also has a great Louspeaker lineup if you are hankering to keeping it local.
