All weekend long there have showcases featuring bands nominated for San Diego Music Awards, and Sunday is no exception. The Casbah features the Nervous Wreckords and Grand Tarantula (both nominated in the "best rock" category), the Howls (nominated for best Americana album) and Parker & the Numberman (nominated for best hip-hop and best hip-hop album). All of these bands have performed at our SoundDiego LIVE events and have proven to be solid pieces of this flourishing local scene.
