King Buzzo and crew are back in town, but since their show at the Casbah is already sold out, I thought I would get a little nostalgic because I don't know what punk, pop-punk, hard core or post-hardcore you latched on to as a teen, but I certainly had my angst and plenty of music to go with it. But as I've gotten older -- as we all get older -- the things that gave us angst might not any more, and so we hope that our musician heroes grow up with us, too. At Soda Bar on Thursday, you can see singer/songwriter John Nolan, which might not instantly ring a bell, but if you're a fan of Taking Back Sunday, you're certainly familiar with his searing vocals. Meanwhile, around town, Los Lonely Boys return to the Belly Up, Arms Away and Wages play a rare midweek show at Bar Pink, and the Heart Beat Trail get intimate at Sycamore Den.
