Sounds Like San Diego: August 25

Jill Scott plays a sold-out Humphrey's, while Nails and others perform around town on Tuesday

It's a Tuesday night in San Diego, and for those of you who love midweek shows, there are a few options to keep you entertained. Best band name of the week goes to Melbourne's psychedelic-rock outfit, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, who are playing at Soda Bar, while the Merrow has San Francisco's Painted Palms, locals Barbarian and the Gloomies to rock your night. If you want to have a night of face-melting burl, check out Oxnard's Nails of Southern Lord Records, with Death Eyes and Crime Desire rounding out that lineup. ListenLocal is back at House of Blues, while Miss Jill Scott has sold out Humphrey's, and Masked Intruder play Tower Bar.
