Chillwave pioneers Neon Indian take on Belly Up with Dream Joints

When I think about chillwave -- the sub genre of indie electro-pop that was the "it" thing until it wasn't -- I think about Neon Indian, who could be considered an artist at the forefront of the sound, whether or not he embraced the label. As it goes, though, Neon Indian has continued to evolve and produce great music and since it's been a while since he's headlined in San Diego, you should probably just grab tickets and head to the Belly Up tonight. Around town, Tennis System is playing Blonde, I.B.'s Fake Tides play Anti-Monday League at the Casbah and North County's Electric Elms play Soda Bar.
