There are some seriously great shows tonight, including Latin Grammy's Best New Artist, Monsieur Perine, at the Casbah, and performers like Lisa Prank at Soda Bar and Manatee Commune at the Hideout -- but today we're going to talk about Music Box. Tonight's lineup includes several area tribute bands performing for one of San Diego music's own. Michael Fortuna was recently critically injured by an alleged drunk driver who ran the vehicle onto the sidewalk and plowed into him and his family as they walked and scootered down the street. It was a tragic night and this benefit intends to raise money for the mounting expenses his family is facing as well as providing for his family while he heals.
