Sounds Like San Diego: Aug. 10

Crocodiles return for a hometown show at the Casbah Sunday night

Tonight is a tough call. Crocodiles are back in town with a show at the Casbah and you can be sure to see some old pals and enjoy the noise as they've really honed their skills over the years. You can also be sure that you'll barely be able to see Brandon and Chuck and crew because they love to keep the venue really, really dark when they're onstage. On the flip side, Diarrhea Planet returns to San Diego at Soda Bar, with a co-headlining gig with Those Darlins. I can't lie, I absolutely hate the band's name and I hate even typing it, but the band is an amazing assault of the senses, with four guitarists who make this fun and exciting band one of my favorite new acts. Hard to pick one show over the other, so I'll leave the hard choices to you.
