Sounds Like San Diego: April 9

As Coachella approaches, the music scene will reach a fever pitch

The weekend is over, but as we approach Coachella, the music scene is just going to be bonkers, so why not just get it started tonight? The Casbah is super sold out with Kevin Morby, but Matt and Kim are going to blow the roof off of the Observatory. Expect their usual antics, complete with dancing on their instruments, confetti explosions and a crazy good time. For a more intimate night, don't miss Soccer Mommy, who is an amazing performer and songwriter and for this genre, a rising star among peers like Mitski, Japanese Breakfast, Phoebe Bridgers and their ilk. City Windows keeps things fresh at Bar Pink, the Cavemen have come all the way from New Zealand to rock your socks off at Til-Two Club, and Grammy Award-winning bluesman Fuzzy Rankins plays at Humphreys Backstage.
