Sounds Like San Diego: April 15

Now that the first weekend of Coachella has wrapped, San Diego reaps the benefits of "Localchella" as several of the artists who played the epic festival find a way to pass the time between weekends. On Monday, Foals and the Neighborhood pass through at Porter's Pub, and though the show has long been sold out, you can still reap the benefits of Localchella. At Humphreys, Grammy winners Franz Ferdinand take the stage with Palma Violets, while Wild Nothing and Little Green Cars perform at the Casbah, with the latter making their San Diego debut. Of course, there's always good stuff around town without Localchella, so don't forget your friends at the Tin Can Country Club or some face-melty goodness at Soda Bar with Mission:Valley, one of Rob Crow's many projects. It's certainly a great Monday to catch some live music.
