We're hittin' the beach, San Diego: On Friday, Sept. 27, our 67th SoundDiego LIVE invades the 710 Beach Club in PB with four great bands, party host extraordinaire Alysha Nett (who, of course, you've seen on Instagram and our Saturday night TV show on NBC), and a craft-beer happy hour courtesy of Mason Ale Works!

Let's dive in: For our latest and greatest party (the popular club is located at 710 Garnet Ave.), we've enlisted none other than the stellar local rock/pop/funk/soul collective, the Redwoods Revue, as our headliners!
For the unfamiliar, the Redwoods Revue is one of the most in-demand shows in town. Made up entirely of bands on the hometown independent Redwoods Music label, different groups -- usually comprised of the same musicians backing different, amazing vocalists -- rotate on and off the stage in a nonstop flurry of fantastic music that lasts all night long.
The revues always sell out and they're always a great time. For our next party, we've tapped three of the Redwoods' biggest names (all award-winners and some of the best performers in San Diego): The soaringly beautiful folk-rock troupe the Midnight Pine; the infectious "California soul" pop outfit Birdy Bardot; and funk/soul luminaries Rebecca Jade & the Cold Fact!
If all those great acts weren't enough, we've tapped Ethics, the cross-border indie-pop/disco dance group to open the show. And if one of their band members look awfully familiar, it might be due to the fact that J-mar --frequently seen on NBC7 as one of our beloved SoundDiego TV reporters -- is in the band! We're always looking to support our own and couldn't more excited to have them on-hand for our party.
