NBCSanDiego contributor Barbarella has been on the hunt for a new intro song for her morning-show segment, "Stepping Out With Barbarella." For her new theme song, Barbarella asked San Diego musicians for upbeat, catchy, memorable 7.4 second clips.In addition to her weekly columns for the San Diego Reader, this socialite/journalist produces packages about community events for NBCSanDiego's morning show. -- Ed.

They were all wonderful to listen to. After narrowing them down to four finalists, I finally chose the one I felt is the most appropriate for my "Stepping Out" segment. That track came from Atomic Groove. Please tune in to NBC San Diego at 6:45 a.m. this Thursday to hear the winning track on TV.
