P.O.D. Sign ‘Circles' at Lou's Records

P.O.D. sign copies of the new record at Lou’s Records on Sunday, Nov. 18

It's so easy to make a P.O.D. pun, but I'll try my hardest to refrain, because the South Bay nu metal band is generously offering up their time to fans on Sunday, Nov. 18.

P.O.D., aka Payable on Death, will be meeting fans and signing copies of their new album at Lou's Records in Encinitas from 3-4 p.m.

The signing comes just two days after the release of "Circles," the band's first album since 2015's "The Awakening."

Over the past few years, the San Diego-based nu metal rap rockers have shared the stage with In This Moment, Prophets of Rage, Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch, reinvigorating the genre with some much-needed energy and contemporization.

On "Circles," P.O.D. have collaborated with a production duo called the Heavy in an effort to show an evolution in their sound whilst not losing the core elements that fans have come to adore over the years.

If the record signing is any indication, those core elements aren’t going anywhere soon.
