Disappointed ticketbuyers were told Thursday that the show by punk rock supergroup OFF! was canceled.
“OFF! had to cancel their show tonight due to illness to Keith Morris, lead singer,” said an email sent out in the early afternoon by the Casbah, which was presenting the show at the Epicentre, in Mira Mesa. “Negative Approach and Bad Antics are going to be playing, and tickets for the show will be reduced to $10. We will be issuing automatic refunds for all $15 tickets that have been purchased for the OFF! show and be selling the $10 tickets at the door this evening and online at the following link: http://casbah.frontgatetickets.com/choose.php?a=1&lid=78255&eid=88253”
OFF! Is made up of Morris, singer for the Circle Jerks; Burning Brides frontman Dimitri Coats; bassist Steven Shane McDonald of Redd Kross; and Rocket From the Crypt/Hot Snakes drummer Mario Rubalcaba.
The Casbah said they planned on tryring to reschedule the show – and also wished Morris “a sppedy recovery.”
