Korn and Alice in Chains Announce Blistering Fall Show

Korn and Alice in Chains carve a path to totality at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on Sept. 2

Live Nation just unleashed a freakin' huge show on San Diego, and there are no excuses for alternative and nu metal fans not to try to get tickets.

On Sept. 2, Korn and Alice in Chains will carve a path to totality at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, and your opportunity to see them opens up on Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. as ticket sales go live.

You're looking at $29.50 on the low end and $125 on the high end (plus fees, of course), but that's surprisingly reasonable given the stature of both of these bands.

Last time Korn were in town was in 2017 at the same venue (with a different name, naturally). Before that, it was 2010 at 4th & B -- remember that place?

Alice in Chains played a special, haunting set at Copley Symphony Hall in 2016, turning the classical concert space into a heavy grunge gathering of all ages.

Both bands will be joined on tour by late '90s/early '00s cult hardcore juggernauts Underoath, so yeah, this show is going to be blistering and all kinds of heavy.

Tickets for Korn and Alice in Chains at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre go on sale on Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. Get them here.

Rutger Ansley Rosenborg has been with NBC SoundDiego since 2016. Find out more here.
