Indie Jam 2015 Lineup Announced

Indie Jam 2015 pumps up the volume with seven bands on two stages

It's here! Summer is here! It must be, because FM 94/9 just announced the lineup for the 2015 Independence Jam. On Saturday, Sept. 12, two stages at the Junior Seau Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre will play host to seven bands, including Silversun Pickups, Meg Myers, Houndmouth, Civil Twilight, Bully and the New Regime. One more act will be announced on July 22.

It’s an all-ages event that’ll set you back $28, and tickets are already on sale. Grab ’em while you can -- this always-mellow waterside fest is sure to sell out.

In past years, FM 94/9 has brought such acts as the Black Keys, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Kings of Leon, Cold War Kids and Phantogram to the pier. Basically, they’ve got a pretty solid track record for getting great music to this festival on the water, so while it’s anyone’s guess who will fill in as the surprise guest this year, it’s sure to a crowd pleaser.

Can’t wait until September to see some of these rad Indie Jam acts? See one of them for free on July 30 at our next SoundDiego LIVE party, when the New Regime headlines at Soda Bar [RSVP here].

The 2015 Independence Jam brings Silversun Pickups, Meg Myers, Houndmouth, Civil Twilight, Bully and the New Regime to the Junior Seau Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m. The event is all ages, and tickets are available for purchase here.
