I'm With Her Prep Debut Album

I'm With Her, the Americana/folk supergroup, have released the title track from their upcoming debut album

I'm With Her -- the Americana/folk supergroup consisting of Sarah Jarosz, Crooked Still's Aoife O'Donovan and Nickel Creek's Sara Watkins -- have just released "See You Around," the leadoff single from their upcoming 2018 debut album of the same name.

To say the record, slated for a Feb. 16 release, is eagerly anticipated would be an understatement: One listen to the group's beautiful harmonies and masterful songwriting -- evident in the new single -- and you'll undoubtedly be hooked.

The trio originally came together in 2014 for a one-off show at the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, Colorado and afterward decided to make a proper project out of it. A world tour followed in 2015 and I'm With Her would go on to record their first LP in Bath, England with none other than Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Kings of Leon, Ray LaMontagne).

“‘See You Around’ was one of the first songs we wrote together in Los Angeles in July 2015,” Watkins said in a recent press release. “It encapsulates a lot of what this band is about: moving through the world with a certain boldness and looking forward to the future.”

The 11-track album's upcoming release coincides with their next world tour (the appropriately titled See You Around World Tour) -- which kicks off on Jan. 28 in Glasgow, Scotland, turns to North America for 27 dates, and then heads back to the UK to culminate on May 17 with a London show at Union Chapel. For a full list of tour dates and further information, visit the band's official website.

Unfortunately for us, there's currently no area date planned but since Watkins was a San Diegan once upon a time (until moving to LA), we're holding out hope she can convince the crew to swing by sometime soon.

Either way though, we'll see you around.
