Halloween isn't until Wednesday, but you can expect this weekend to be the time when most adults will celebrate, and whether you're costumed this weekend or not, there's a ton of fun stuff to do. Of course, we hope to see your beautiful faces at Seven Grand, where we're hosting another SoundDiego LIVE. This month, we want to introduce you to Tijuana shoegaze artist Hawk Auburn -- and along with Burger Records' garage-rock duo Dog Party and local indie-rock/pop group Sights and Sages, this party is going to rule (the guest list for the VIP happy hour is now closed but the event is free and open to the public [entry is subject to capacity] -- see you there!). Elsewhere around town, our friends the Donkeys play Soda Bar; guitarist and Living Colour frontman Vernon Reid revisits Hendrix's Band of Gypsies at Casbah; Oingo Boingo tribute Dead Man's Party play a sold-out show at the Belly Up; and Dethsurf host a party night at Bar Pink.
