Helping Haiti One Song at a Time

This Thursday, I will be emceeing a Haitian benefit show at Bar Pink/North Park, the epicenter of impressive live music, high-end cocktails and solid company.

The evening will feature live local music courtesy of the Death Eaters, Grand Tarantula and the Old in Out, and a DJ set by Cats from Japan.

With a $7 suggested donation at the door, attendees can purchase $2 tickets for a drawing to win hotel getaways, restaurant certificates and spa treatments. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. The organization, which was created by doctors and journalists, is an international medical humanitarian organization providing aid to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect or catastrophe.
