It's kind of hard to pass up partying in the sun, which is probably why Fiesta Del Sol will be celebrating its 40th year of bringing eclectic music lineups to Solana Beach on Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19.
The Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce and Belly Up Entertainment have recruited One Drop, Pine Mountain Logs, Alo, Stripes and Lines, the B-Side Players, Betamaxx, Abbey Road, Aloha Radio and many more national and local performers for this year's festival, continuing Fiesta Del Sol's family-friendly mix of music, art, food and rides -- plus, a 21+ beer and wine garden.
Last year, the beachside festival hosted Wayward Sons, Hirie, Common Sense, Petty Breakers, Vokab Company and the Routine. Clearly, the organizers like to mix it up without losing that SoCal vibe.
As per usual, Fiesta Del Sol is free and open to the public, taking place next to Fletcher Cove between South Sierra Avenue and Acacia Avenue in Solana Beach.
