Harrah's Resort Southern California welcomes back Dive Day Club for its second season

What happens at Harrah's, stays at Harrah's.

Hope you've got your bathing suit ready: The second season of Las Vegas-style poolside parties at Harrah's Resort Southern California, known as Dive Day Club, kicks off on May 17.

The resort (which is a SoundDiego sponsor) has undergone massive renovations -- to the tune of $160 million -- with the addition of a 21-story hotel tower, a brand new 53,221 square foot state-of-the-art event center, a 400-foot lazy river, nine hot tubs and SoCal's only swim-up bar, among other amenities.

So what better way to experience the revamped resort than with all-day DJ'd pool parties, affectionally dubbed Adult Swim Saturdays. Last year, Dive Day Club brought out more than 2,000 beautiful party-goers each Saturday throughout the three-month 2013 season.

To kick off this season, it's only getting bigger: May 17 features a performance by New York-based progressive house producer 3Lau, who rose to prominence in the dance world with his 2011 bootleg singles, "Girls Who Save the World" and "All Night Long." We expect the place to be packed and bumpin' when he takes the decks over.

Memorial Weekend may be even crazier, when Motley Crue's Tommy Lee and his Methods of Mayhem partner, DJ Aero, to turn up the beats. Harrah's three pools, eight cooling spas, 21 cabanas and 30+ VIP areas will definitely be the place to be on Dive Day Club's third weekend as well, when world renowned EDM sensation Wolfgang Gartner DJs on May 31. The tech-house superstar is one of the most recognizable names in the dance industry and if you're thinking about going, you may want to pick up tickets early, right here.

Summers in San Diego are never shabby, but Dive Day Club takes the party to the next level.
