DJ IDeaL's EDM Horn of Plenty

Here's November's best dance parties, courtesy of DJ IDeaL

We all love November for the leftover Halloween candy, the holiday cheer ... and from Friday to Sunday, Nov. 15-17, the Future Breaks Festival takes over the Lafayette Hotel, AC Lounge and the Hole for a doozy of talent with DJ Dan, Wally Callerio, Matthew Brian, Oscar P, Myron Eugene and more. From indoor dancing to letting the sun cook up the proper beats poolside, this one has a variety of options for you to get down to. After the poolside action on Sunday, Nov. 17, weekend warriors will be happy to learn that the LA-based DJ and production duo Deep Tribe returns to San Diego for some Kava Lounge action. DeepTech SD is committed to putting together some of the best underground dance music shows with blossoming talent, and Deep Tribe is one you must check out!

If you fancy some North County dancing action, the Shelter in Encinitas hosts its weekly house music gathering with Mitch Dodge, Susio, Evlo and Matth for an all night house music frenzy. This group of DJs and producers is one to keep an eye on. With plenty of great self-produced tracks and a fun-loving vibe, they come highly recommended. A city wide three day event taking over most of San Diego’s waterfront and downtown venues goes down Friday, Nov. 22, to Sunday, Nov 24. This unique event brings a broad spectrum of artists from Ben Harper, Big Gigantic, Bob Moses and Slightly Stoopid to MGMT, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Gioli & Assia, Thievery Corporation, Goldfish, Tokimonsta and Lil Dicky. You won't want to miss Wonderfront Festival!

On Saturday, Nov. 23, the highlight after party for Wonderfront goes down at the Music Box. Featuring a late night party with Bob Moses at one of San Diego’s classiest venues with top tier sound for one of their exclusive DJ sets! For those prepping for the Thanksgiving dinner, get your dance on at Omnia San Diego with Slushie. Coming in hot from some of the biggest festivals around the globe, the Slushi sound will have the bass rattling your insides.

On Saturday, Nov. 30, the dankest of Dank events is here, as they celebrate nine years of Danksgiving. Bringing together the most elite of Southern California’s artists, DJs and performers, the star-studded lineup will have you wandering between three areas of music. You'll be jammin' to the legendary Donald Glaude, Desert Heart’s Memo Rex, West Coast Weekender’s Oscar P, LoveLife’s Jimbo James, Dance Klassique’s Joe P and so many more. With booming Bassmechanic sound and extreme performances by OB Fire Nation, you wont want to miss this one, so grab your tickets here.

As San Diego turns up the heat on the turkey, there’s still plenty more events going down all month to work that off, so keep an ear out through my Facebook page, and tune in Friday and Saturday nights to my show, In the Mixxx, on ALT949’s Glow San Diego on the Radio.com app!
