Coachella Tickets On Sale

Coachella 2016 tickets go on sale Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. PST

Hey there, friendos. Just a reminder that it's time to hop in that digital line to Funkytown, USA, to score your tickets for the 2016 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival (unless you're reading this before 11 a.m. PST, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, in which case -- sit tight, your time will come... at 11 a.m. PST).

Don't balk when you hit the purchase page though, for what you'll find there is no error: General admission passes to weekend one (April 15-17) are already sold out (weekend two, April 22-24, is still up for grabs) -- but you can still hop on the GA pass + shuttle option -- and good luck scoring tent camping for either weekend. That's all been snatched up by the early birds, who bit that worm back in June 2015 when the Coachella presale went down for the weekend-long experience that starts at $399.

Headliners Guns 'n Roses and LCD Soundsystem were announced earlier this week for the dual-weekend festival, with the full lineup -- including Sunday headliner Calvin Harris of EDM fame -- released shortly thereafter.

Joining those headlining monsters near the top of the bills are Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Jack U, M83, Underworld, the Kills, Foals and Of Monsters and Men (Fridays); Ice Cube, Disclosure, Zedd, A$ap Rocky, Chvrches, Halsey, James Bay and Run the Jewels (Saturdays); and Sia, Major Lazer, Flume, Beach House, the 1975, Rancid, Mikke Snow and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros (Sundays).

Oh, and our sweet little San Diego baddies Prayers were tapped for the Sunday bill. It's a big step up from the headlining stage at our SoundDiego LIVE at the Air Conditioned Lounge last year, and we couldn't be more stoked for the dudes.

That's all to say, brush up on your Coachella pass purchasing know-how, and get them hot fingers ready for a little clicking and a lot of waiting at 11 a.m. In the meantime, check out the full lineup below.
