Carla Morrison's Sweet Return

Tecate’s Grammy-winning songstress performs at North Park Theatre during Día de los Muertos weekend.

Tecate’s two-time Grammy winner, Carla Morrison, is returning to Southern California for three select dates including a stop at San Diego’s North Park Theatre. This mini tour fits hand-in-glove for the Dia de los Muertos holiday weekend. The other two dates were Oct. 30 at the Observatory Santa Ana, and Nov. 1 at the Hollywood Forever Día de los Muertos Celebration.

Last year, she performed at the now-defunct Bay Park venue, the Griffin, so the chance to see her on a bigger stage at the decadent North Park Theatre will be the perfect upgrade for all her beloved pajarito fans.

Morrison makes Baja California real proud with all the success she’s enjoyed as an independent artist. Her song, "Disfruto," off her Latin Grammy-winning album "Dejenme Llorar" was also used in the "Ablation" episode from the critically acclaimed FX TV series, "Sons of Anarchy."

"Este Momento," off of her previous Latin Grammy-nominated album "Mientras Tu Dormias" was placed on national TV commercial for Kleenex. A mini-EP of remixes from "Dejenme Llorar" will be released digitally this winter and look out for a special movie announcement coming soon -- we’ve been hearing about a documentary on the singer since last year, so we’re definitely thirsting for the final cut.

Morrison has also revamped her website, and is looking red-hot with her new ruby haircolor!
