Art After Dark presents Cruisin’ Culture at the Oceanside Museum of Art Friday from 7-10 p.m. From the Art of Lowriding to music from the Red Fox Tails to a pinup photo shoot and fashion show, there's plenty of eye candy is in store for you. Get more details via this link. In Hillcrest, Feel the Noise turns into Art of Noise at Kitty Diamond, as eight of San Diego’s most talented local artists showcase their work. On Saturday, DJ Claire is celebrating nine years of monthly happy hours at the Whistle Stop. Kudos to Claire for bringin’ the groovy tunes to South Park for so long. DJ Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession/Three Mile Pilot/Mr. Tube) will also be sharing some musical gems from his personal collection. Plus, this is the unofficial pre-party to Booty Basement. More fun over at Numbers in Hillcrest as Club Sabbat takes over the front room and attached patio. Diskdroid and I will be playing everything from darkwave to EBM to industrial, plus enjoy live painting from Randy Renaud. You can get more info here.
