Bon Jovi Weekend Bender Wanted: Dead or Alive

Runaway Tours tickets for a backstage JBJ experience in October are on sale today at 8 a.m.

The days of livin’ on a prayer are behind us, JBJers. The man himself is coming for the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown San Diego this October. But this isn’t just a show -- it’s an entire weekend bender of an experience. And for a price, you can rent the exclusivity of Bon Jovi’s love (or some semblance of it) starting today at 8 a.m., when packages for the intimate event go on sale.

It’s the most recent offer from Runaway Tours, the get-close events organized as part of Bon Jovi’s members-only club. It starts with a Hornblower cruise around the Bay, where a dinner awaits as the welcoming committee to the weekend, which includes two nights at the Hard Rock Hotel. The package, sold in singles ($1,999 per person) to quads ($1,599 per person), gets you access to Bon Jovi’s concert at the Hard Rock the following evening, the likes of which will seem pint-sized in comparison to the arenas he usually packs.

This guy's going -- are you?

Oh, and who needs a mass-produced, autographed headshot of the heart throb (you, actually -- you’re getting one) when the real hashtag moments come with a Jon Bon Jovi photo op, photobombed by yours truly. JK, guys -- unless you want me to be your plus one. Either way, dress to impress, ‘cause you’re not only meeting Bon Jovi but also going to his after party.

Bells and whistles come attached, bee-tee-dubs. Have you ever stayed at the Hard Rock? Because there’s this thing called the All Access Pass. It’s pretty self-explanatory, really, but hear me out: you get to rent badass Electra bicycles (for free) and Fender guitars (for free!), but I totally suggest doing both at the same time, because really, what’s more rock-n-roll than riding a bike with no hands because those bad boys are busy playing your own heavy metal rendition of Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love a Bad Name” while cruising the Gaslamp? Oh. Stupid questions do exist.

Tickets for the Bon Jovi's San Diego Runaway Tours Package at the Hard Rock Hotel from October 3-5 go on sale today at 8 a.m. You must be a member ($54.99 and up) of Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi in order to purchase. $1,599-$1,999 per person.
