Hundreds of tween girls and boys -- OK, mostly girls -- made their way to Mira Mesa on Wednesday for the local premiere of Justin Bieber’s new film, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never at the Edwards Mira Mesa 18 Theaters.
Fans were treated to free hair highlights, Bieber manicures and more, as well as an opportunity to strut their stuff on the purple -- yes, purple; it’s Justin’s favorite color -- carpet after their makeovers.
Bieber’s film gives fans an inside look at the pop star's life, following him from his early days as a street performer in the small town of Stratford, Ontario, in Canada, to his discovery on YouTube and transformation to global superstardom.
During the first 12 hours of advance sales for special sneak screenings of the film, more than 100,000 tickets were sold across the country.
