This month I picked one show for almost every day, but looking through various calendars, there are more choices available than that. So as I always say, this is just a guide of what I would like to do or plan on doing, not what you have to do. To each his own, right?
I get that the world is made up of people with different tastes, so what are yours? Are you a cowboy, punker, goth, mod, rockabilly, hipster, rude boy, teddy boy, raver, flapper, metalhead, juggalo, greaser, new romantic or a dirty hippie? I love subcultures! Aug. 10: Sebadoh @the Casbah -- Lou Barlow of Dinosaur Jr. and Folk Implosion also has another band
Aug. 11: White Fence @the Casbah -- watch out for "Pink Gorilla" from these scuzz-rockers!
Aug. 12: Anti-Monday League, with the Smith Westerns @the Casbah -- check out the latest album Soft Will from the indie rockers.
Aug. 13: King Tuff @Soda Bar -- greasy psych rock!
