2019 Super Girl Surf Pro Rips Through Oceanside

The 2019 Super Girl Surf Pro surf and music festival rocks Oceanside on July 26-28

Anything you can do, I can do better: Move over boys, the 2019 Super Girl Surf Pro is ripping through Oceanside on July 26-28.

By the time you read this, the free, family-friendly festivities will have started (our bad) but luckily, you've got an entire weekend to get there and partake in the fun.

The annual Super Girl Surf Pro is the only all-girls action sports professional competition and lifestyle festival in the world! Centered around female empowerment and providing opportunities for young women in areas where they are traditionally underrepresented, there are so many events packed into its three days that it's nearly impossible to list them all.

Ranging from a women's surf contest (the largest in the world) and a major all-women's skateboarding event to a celebrity surf invitational, an all-female DJ competition, female leadership panels, classes, giveaways, fitness challenges and so much more -- the North County locale is simply the place to be.

Of course, in addition to all those aforementioned events, there's a stacked live-music lineup on deck as well: This year, its Nissan Concert Series expands to more than 20 free shows, all taking place throughout the weekend, with great national acts tapped to perform -- including Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield, beloved power-pop/rock group Hey Violet, pop trailblazer Kim Petras, actor/singer James Maslow, on-the-rise pop artist Meg Donnelly, Radio Disney star Indiana Massara and others.

Some of our favorite local acts are in on the action, too, such as singer/songwriters Jessica Lerner, Tennessee Tina and Astra Kelly, power pop band Mittens, surf-reggae group the Skyler Lutes Band and many more.

Concerts run at the Oceanside Pier from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, July 26; and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28.
