Cricket Unveils 2011 Country Megaticket

Dust off your Stetson, shine up the boots, brush up on your line dancing and mosey on down to Chula Vista for the 2011 Country Megaticket shows.

On Monday, Live Nation announced a trio of country music stars slated to headline shows at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre. A surprise country that has yet to be named will headline the fourth show

Tim McGraw kicks off the shindig with a June 5 date featuring special guests Luke Bryan and the Grammy-nominated the Band Perry, featuring Kimberly Perry and her brothers, Reid and Neil Perry (both McGraw and the Band Perry were in San Diego last year -- check out our galleries below). Country superstar and part-time actor Toby Keith will sizzle in the summer heat with country sensation Eric Church on Aug. 12.

Then, in a date in October still being finalized, Jason Aldean will bring his My Kinda Party album tour to the Cricket, with a special guest. Rounding out the megaticket show is a surprise country β€œsuperact” that will be announced at a later date -- may the speculation begin.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday for Cricket Wireless 2010 Country Megaticket purchasers. General public tickets are available at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Citi Card members can purchase tickets at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
