Labor Day weekend is upon us. In between all of the BBQs and beach action, make sure you leave some time for the dance floor, as there are four festivals around San Diego. Plus, there are many other club events, concerts and pool party happenings in town.
Friday, M83 hits Soma for an all-ages show. The local indie-electro duo Hyena opens the night -- you can grab tickets here. The Del Mar Summer Concert Series comes to a close this weekend, so get in these last two events if you can: Friday features Ozomatli performing after the last race at the track, and on Saturday, it’s Reggae Fest with Ziggy Marley. For the EDM crowd on Saturday and Sunday, TrampsLikeUs is a two-day concert at Valley View Casino Center, aka the Sports Arena. You’ll be able to check out Wolfgang Gartner, Moby (DJ set), Rusko, Flux Pavilion and so much more. The fun starts at 9 p.m. and rolls till 4 a.m. -- it’s 18 and up to party, 21 and up to drink. Saturday is the SoCal Music Festival in the East Village, with 25 DJs and bands performing on four outdoor stages across five blocks between 9th Avenue and Park Boulevard.
