The show popped up just recently on the Valley View calendar and is certainly a pleasant surprise for San Diego's strong electronic music fan base. The two Steves have performed together in the past and will be reunited in San Diego in just a few weeks.

Aoki played at San Diego State University last year with Lupe Fiasco and put on a remarkable performance for his enthusiastic fans. He is originally from Newport Beach and in his early 20's established Dim Mak records, which has released music for well known artists like MSTRKRFT and the Bloody Beetroots. Aoki has been a member of various bands, including This Machine Kills, Esperanza and the Fire Next Time. He has released a total of four singles, each of which have achieved national success.

Angello is originally from Sweden and is part of the three-person electronic/house group Swedish House Mafia. Angello has previously performed in San Diego at venues such as 4th & B and Hard Rock. Since the release of his remix of “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics in 2004, Angello has found national recognition within the house music scene.  Like Aoki, Angello owns his own record label, the Sweden-based Size Records.

Aoki and Angello each have their own unique sound, and when those sounds come together, fans are sure to experience a night they will ever forget. The Valley View Casino Center seats approximately 15,000 people and has been commemorated as “San Diego’s Place for Entertainment.” Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
