Furloughs Die! Furloughs Live!

As attorney general, Jerry Brown opposed furloughs of lawyers and his employee. Now that he's governor, Brown's administration has just negotiated a new contract with state lawyers. The agreement would end three-day-a-month furloughs for workers. But it also includes one unpaid day off a month -- called "unpaid personal leave" -- which sounds very much like, well, you know.
