Apple Puts Final Cut Studio Back On Sale

Apple has decided to put its previous version of its Final Cut Studio back on the market after its new Final Cut Pro X launched two months ago amid mixed reviews.

The news, first reported on MacRumors, was confirmed by several sources, including The Loop, where an Apple representative said, "“As we’ve done before with many end-of-life software products, we have a limited quantity of Final Cut Studio still available through Apple telesales to customers who need them for ongoing projects."

Most critics complained about the abrupt discontinuation of Final Cut Studio and that Final Cut Pro X seemed to be aimed not at professionals or consumers, but something in between -- kind of a problem if you're a professional being paid to produce video.

Does this mean Apple bowed to pressure? Perhaps, or it realized it would make much more money if it revived Final Cut Studio.
