“Up” Takes Best Animated Feature

There was really no way this wasn't going to happen -- it was the only animated film nominated for Best Picture, so how on Earth could it not be Best Animated Feature?

And truth to tell, it is an amazing film, beautifully drawn, a great love story, a thrilling adventure and funny, to boot.

Pete Docter accepted the prize, his first Oscar after having been previously nominated four times, including nods for "WALL-E," "Monsters, Inc." and the original "Toy Story." It's amazing he hasn't won before.

It's good he took this prize, cuz he doesn't have a chance of winning Best Picture.
