Audra Stafford

Audra is excited to be a part of the NBC 7 News Team.

Audra has been covering the news in San Diego County for nearly two decades as a television news writer, producer and reporter. She is also a correspondent for the syndicated lifestyle show California Life and for and is the host of Broadway/San Diego’s annual Season Preview TV special.

Throughout her career, Audra has interviewed many of Hollywood’s finest actors, directors, producers, and musicians, including Robin Williams, Helen Mirren, Ed Harris, Frankie Valli, Burt Bacharach, and Jerry Bruckheimer, as well as Tony Award-winners Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lea Salonga, Casey Nicholaw and Paloma Young.

Audra is the recipient of five Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter. She also received two Student Emmys while at San Diego State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Film and New Media Production (Go Aztecs!). Audra is also a member of SAG-AFTRA and the NATAS-PSW Board of Governors.

In her free time, Audra loves spending time with her husband, NBC 7’s Joe Little, and his two boys. She also enjoys the theatre, hiking at Torrey Pines, lounging on the beach and exploring everything San Diego has to offer.
