You wanted it - you got it!

If you've been wishing for a real storm, a real gully-washer, you certainly got your wish on Saturday.  Officially, we set a record for the date.  Lindbergh Field, the county's official reporting station, measured 1.41" of rainfall by 5:00 PM.  That shattered the old record of .78" set back in 1983.

Mother Nature then went on to add to the totals, not just at the airport, but all over the county.  If you'd like to see how much fell in your neighborhood, go to the National Weather Service site.
