The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the valleys through Sunday night

Firefighters are on alert today as Santa Ana winds gust through Southern California.
Strong Santa Ana winds are forecast Saturday for San Diego County, with gusts of between 30 and 55 miles per hour likely in the afternoon.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the valleys through Sunday night. A high wind warning is in effect in the mountains for the same period.
Sunny skies and warm temperatures also are forecast. The hot, dry winds are expected to continue through the day.
