Dense Fog Advisory in Effect for San Diego

A dense fog advisory was in effect for San Diego’s coastal areas Thursday.

The advisory was expected to affect drivers up to 15 miles inland until approximately 8 a.m. according to NBC 7 Meteorologist Jodi Kodesh. 

Clouds will slowly increase over and to the west of the mountains through the afternoon leading to a 30 to 50 percent chance of scattered showers.

The chance for showers will increase and peak overnight into Friday and linger through the day Friday.
