Partly cloudy for Thursday and a degree or two warmer. The big difference is no rain as of midday, at least, nothing like yesterday and nothing west of the mountains. In the mountains we've seen a few sprinkles as of 11 AM but conditions are looking better for thunderstorms and showers to develop during or shortly after the noon hour. The threat of rain should decrease once the sun goes down. Only a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Friday in the far East County.
