A woman was killed in a crash on northbound I-15 Friday, at the height of a powerful storm that caused slick roadways. CHP officials say speed often plays a role in crashes during heavy rainfall. NBC 7’s Astrid Solorzano reports.

A flash flood watch is in effect in San Diego County through Saturday afternoon. One of the problem areas after heavy storms is the San Diego River and surrounding roads near Fashion Valley mall. NBC 7’s Ramon Galindo reports.
