    Westfield is partnering with the San Diego Food Bank to help "Scare Away Hunger" this Halloween. The event is Oct 31 between 5-7pm. Trick-or-treaters are encouraged to donate at least one non-perishable food item and in return they will be eligible for treats and goodies from the Concierge Center and participating retailers according to Viva-City Info.

    All food gathered through "Scare Away Hunger" goes to the San Diego Food Bank to benefit local famlies and individuals in need. The San Diego Food Bank's latest statistics show startling increases in demans. La Mesa is up 102% in distribution figures. Chula Vista is up 34%.
