Spend Less, Give More

Instead of that sweater he won't like

Spend less and give more.

That’s the goal of Flood Church’s 4th annual Christmas Shoppe in Kearny Mesa on Sunday, December 13.

The event is as an alternative shopping market featuring socially conscientious gifts that directly support service organizations here in San Diego and around the world. There will be 15 non-profit organizations and charities participating in this year’s event. There will also be four Christmas concerts throughout the day.

With a variety of products ranging from jewelry and clothing, to handcrafted artwork and home décor, there will be something for everyone. Empower women in Northern Uganda with the opportunity to provide for their families by purchasing jewelry from the fair trade organization, Nu Intentions. Help build a home in Tijuana with the purchase of a t-shirt, or feed the homeless in San Diego by purchasing Christmas cards and stockings this Christmas.

Last year the participating non-profit organizations and charities raised over $10,000 in proceeds benefiting the underprivileged here in San Diego and beyond.

The Shoppe will take place in the Kearny High School cafeteria at 7651 Wellington Way, San Diego, CA 92111. Doors will open directly following the 9am Christmas concert and again after the 11am, 6pm & 8pm concerts. Entry to the Shoppe is free and will feature cookie decorating for kids of all ages, Christmas treats, hot drinks, and live music.

A full list of all the participating non-profit organizations and charities can be found on Flood’s Web site.
